Your Step-by-Step Air Source Heat Pump Installation
At Elite Energy, your installation is handled entirely in-house by our accredited team. We oversee every stage, ensuring you have one point of contact and a clear plan from day one.
Because we manage every step ourselves, you can be confident in clear timelines, high workmanship standards, and a smooth transition to your new, efficient heating system.
Initial Contact
We discuss your property, current heating system, and what you're looking to achieve. Whether you're paying privately or exploring a funded route, we'll confirm the right option for your home and arrange your free survey.
Approval Stage
Following your survey, we assess your home's heat demand, design a system matched to your property, and prepare your fixed-price quote with a full breakdown of costs. If you're applying through BUS or ECO4, we handle the application and confirm funding before any work is scheduled.
Installation Scheduling
Once your quote is approved and any funding confirmed, we book your installation at a time that works for you – typically within 2–4 weeks.
Installation
Our MCS-certified engineers complete the full installation, typically over 2–3 days. Once fitted and commissioned, we walk you through the controls and make sure everything is running as it should. Our team stays available for ongoing servicing and support from that point on.
Overcoming Common Concerns About ASHPs
Switching to an air source heat pump is a significant upgrade for your home, and it’s natural to have questions. We address the most common concerns with clear answers and proven solutions.
Upfront Cost
You’ll know the full price before work begins, with a detailed breakdown covering equipment, labour, and any upgrades. If you’re eligible, we’ll guide you through grants like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme to reduce your outlay.
Installation Disruption
Our in-house team schedules work to suit you, typically completing the job in just 2–3 days. We protect floors, minimise noise, and keep everything tidy, most homeowners tell us the process felt far easier than expected.
Performance in Winter
Your system is specified for your home’s exact heat demand, so it runs efficiently even during cold snaps. Where needed, we’ll upgrade radiators or pipework to ensure you get the comfort levels you expect all year round.
