OZEV Approved Installers North East
Get up to £500 towards your EV charger installation with the OZEV grant. As an OZEV approved installer, we handle the full process for you – from checking eligibility to applying the grant and completing your installation.
Being OZEV approved means our EV charger installations meet the standards set by the UK Government’s Office for Zero Emission Vehicles. Every installation is carried out in line with current regulations, using approved equipment and certified engineers, so you can be confident your system is safe, compliant, and eligible for funding.
You don’t need to deal with paperwork or approvals. We make sure everything is set up correctly from the start, so the grant is applied without delays and your installation meets all required standards.
Who Is Eligible for the OZEV Grant?
The OZEV EV Charger Grant is aimed at specific property types and living situations, so eligibility depends on how your home is set up, rather than just owning an electric vehicle.
You May Qualify If:
You own and live in a flat
You rent your home (including shared ownership)
You have access to private off-street parking, or an approved on-street solution
You own, lease, or have ordered an eligible electric vehicle
Your installation is carried out by an OZEV approved installer
You May Not Be Eligible If:
You own a house (not a flat)
You are a lodger living with a landlord
You have already claimed a previous EV charger grant
Your property is a new build where a charger is already required by law
Not Sure If You Qualify?
Eligibility isn’t always obvious, especially with factors like parking setup or property type.
At Elite Energy, we’ll check everything for you upfront and confirm whether the grant applies to your situation, so you don’t waste time applying for something you’re not eligible for.
