Managing Space, Disruption & Finish Quality
Installing internal wall insulation does change the layout of a room, but with the right planning it becomes a smooth process that adds value as well as warmth.
Our approach improves thermal performance while leaving walls with a smooth, newly plastered surface, ready for decoration. Many households choose to align insulation work with planned redecorating, reducing future disruption and maximising the benefit of the installation.
Space Impact
Insulation boards typically reduce floor area by around 60mm per wall. In most homes this is minimal, but it should be considered in smaller rooms or where furniture is tight against walls.
Disruption
Installation takes 3-7 days depending on the number of rooms. Radiators, skirting, and sockets are temporarily removed, with our team ensuring they are reinstated correctly once insulation is fitted.
Finish Quality
Walls are plastered and left ready for decoration, giving a fresh surface that many homeowners use as an opportunity to redecorate or modernise interiors.
What to Expect After Approval
Arranging internal wall insulation follows a clear, structured process that we manage entirely in-house.
Home Survey
We arrange a survey at a convenient time, provide a fixed written quote, and discuss finance options if required. Work is usually booked within weeks, depending on the number of rooms being insulated.
During Installation
Our team manages everything on site, from preparation and fitting to plastering and reinstating radiators, sockets, and skirting. We keep disruption controlled and ensure rooms are left ready for decorating.
After Completion
You receive documentation of compliance, long-term guarantees, and guidance on maintaining thermal performance.
